Role Description The Lead Product Manager – Cyber Security will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for Griffendo and related cybersecurity offerings, from vision and strategy through delivery and ongoing optimization. This full-time, on-site role, based in Hyderabad, involves defining product roadmaps, gathering and prioritizing requirements, and working closely with engineering, architecture, data science, and operations teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions. The role includes conducting market and competitive analysis, engaging with customers and internal stakeholders to understand use cases, and translating those insights into clear product specifications and feature backlogs.

The Lead Product

Manager will oversee product launches, coordinate go-to-market plans with sales and marketing, and track product performance using metrics and feedback loops to drive continuous improvement. This position also requires close collaboration with cybersecurity experts to align product capabilities with evolving threat landscapes, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

Product ideation and market insight

- Track the threat landscape, attacker techniques, regulations (e.g. DPDP Act, GDPR, CERT-In directives) and buyer pain points to find gaps worth filling.
- Conceive new product ideas in areas such as cloud security, identity and access, endpoint detection, threat intelligence, AI/LLM security and security automation.
- Run customer discovery: interviews with CISOs, SOC teams and IT leaders to validate problems before we build.
- Analyse competitors and alternatives; define where our products will be clearly different.
- Build business cases for new ideas, covering target segment, market size, pricing hypothesis and go-to-market route.

2. Feature set and product definition

- Translate validated ideas into product vision, positioning and a prioritised feature set.
- Write product requirement documents, user personas, use cases and acceptance criteria.

- Define the minimum viable product and a phased roadmap, balancing customer value, effort and time to market.
- Ensure security, privacy and compliance needs (ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK; coverage) are built into product definitions.

3. Guiding engineering in product design

- Work daily with architects and engineering leads to turn requirements into sound designs.
- Represent the customer in design reviews, threat-modelling sessions and sprint planning.
- Help make trade-off decisions on scope, performance, usability, integrations and deployment model (SaaS, on-premise, hybrid).
- Review prototypes and beta releases; organise design-partner and pilot programmes and feed findings back into the backlog.

4. Sales enablement and pitch definition

- Define the core sales pitch, value proposition and messaging for each product and buyer persona.
- Create pitch decks, demo scripts, battle cards, ROI models, objection-handling guides and case studies.
- Train the sales and pre-sales teams on the product, the problem it solves and how it beats alternatives.
- Join strategic customer meetings, proof-of-concept discussions and RFP responses as the product expert.
- Bring win/loss insights back to product and engineering.

5. Market and Customer Engagement

- Present at industry conferences, webinars, meetups and customer events.
- Write blogs, white papers and technical articles that build our credibility in the security community.
- Build relationships with industry analysts, technology partners and early adopters.
- Be the trusted voice of our products, internally and externally.
