Learning & Development Manager – Pharmacy Training & E-Learning

Location: Nashik (HQ), Maharashtra Type: Full-time, in office Experience: 4–7 years Travel: ~20%

About usWe are a Nashik-headquartered healthcare services organisation that runs end-to-end pharmacy operations for hospitals: people, inventory, compliance and technology. We manage pharmacies across Maharashtra and neighbouring states, backed by a group with decades of experience in pharmaceutical distribution. We are growing, and we are building the systems and teams to grow well.

The roleWe are building an in-house learning programme and digital learning platform for our pharmacy teams, and we want someone to own it. You will turn our procedures and regulatory requirements into training that pharmacists actually complete and use at the counter. You will design the curriculum, create and produce content, run the platform and measure what works. This role suits someone who can both write the script and run the classroom.

What you'll do• Learning platform: Lead setup, launch and day-to-day administration of our LMS: user onboarding, course publishing, certificates and reporting.

- Curriculum: Build role-based learning paths for pharmacy assistants, pharmacists, store managers and area managers, with a rolling content calendar.
- Content creation: Turn SOPs and regulations into scripts, storyboards, e-learning modules (SCORM), short videos and job aids. Cover topics such as dispensing practice, cold chain, inventory management, controlled substances and inspection readiness.
- Production management: Brief and manage external video, animation and voice-over partners. Run review rounds and quality checks,

keep version control, and protect our brand and content ownership.
- Classroom and on-site training: Run induction for every new joiner, refresher programmes, pre-launch training for new pharmacy sites and, when required, sessions for partner-hospital staff.
- Assessment and certification: Design assessments, role certifications and gamified recognition, and link learning to career progression.
- Learning analytics: Track enrolment, completion and scores. Work with the Quality team to aim training at recurring audit findings and dispensing-error trends.
- Talent pipeline: Build partnerships with pharmacy colleges for internships and early-career hiring.

Travel and working conditions• About 20% travel: roughly 4–6 working days a month for classroom sessions, induction batches and site visits across Maharashtra.

- Occasional overnight stays, mainly for new-site launches and multi-site training.
- Sessions are sometimes held around pharmacy shift timings, including early mornings, evenings or the occasional weekend.
- Travel and stay are covered as per company policy.

What it takes to succeed• You can read a 10-page SOP and turn it into a 5-minute module that a busy pharmacist will finish and remember.

- You keep it practical:

content must match real life at the dispensing counter, not just look good.
- You deliver on a steady schedule and don't wait for perfect.
- You hold external production partners to quality and timelines.
- You are a confident, engaging trainer in English, Hindi and Marathi.
- You use data to decide what to build next and to show that training is working.

Requirements• B.Pharm or M.Pharm or PharmD preferred. B.Pharm + MBA (HR or Healthcare) is an ideal fit. Life-science graduates with strong pharma training experience will also be considered.

- 4–7 years in learning & development or training in pharmacy retail, hospitals or the pharmaceutical industry (field-force training counts), including hands-on building of e-learning content.
- Hands-on LMS administration experience and a working understanding of SCORM.
- Strong script-writing and storyboarding skills. Familiar with authoring, design and basic video-editing tools.
- Excellent written English. Confident training delivery in Hindi and Marathi.
- Based in Nashik or willing to relocate, and comfortable with the travel described above.

Why join us• Build a learning function from the ground up, with real budget and leadership backing.

- See your work change how hundreds of pharmacy professionals do their jobs.
- Work directly with senior leadership.
- Competitive salary plus travel support.

How to apply

- Apply with your CV and a portfolio: links or samples of e-learning modules, training videos or scripts you have created, with any confidential details removed. Shortlisted candidates will complete a short written exercise.
