Role Description

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts for web, API, and backend applications.
- Create and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test automation suites.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects by working closely with development and product teams.
- Develop reusable automation utilities and frameworks using Python.
- Validate application functionality, performance, and reliability across different environments.
- Perform database validations using SQL and MongoDB queries.
- Analyze application logs and investigate issues using Linux/UNIX commands.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of test processes, automation coverage, and quality standards.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Required

Skills





- 5–7 years of experience in Software Testing with strong focus on Test Automation.
- Hands-on experience in Python-based automation development.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, test planning, and defect lifecycle management.
- Experience with SQL and database validation activities.
- Working knowledge of MongoDB and NoSQL database concepts.
- Proficiency in Linux/UNIX commands and troubleshooting techniques.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes of complex issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
