Role Overview

Nomiso manages database and middleware services for a large telecom operator group across 15+ markets in India and South East Asia. As Lead DBA, you will head the DBA team, own design decisions, and act as the escalation point for critical incidents. This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring deep technical expertise and an SRE mindset—automating repetitive tasks, tuning alerts, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and mentor a team of DBAs, ensuring knowledge transfer and skill development.
- Manage Oracle production databases carrying live subscriber and billing traffic.
- Handle complex scenarios such as Data Guard switchovers, RAC node evictions, and archive log issues.
- Drive incident resolution, root cause analysis, and runbook updates.
- Present upgrade, migration, and cost‑optimization plans to client leaders.
- Ensure uptime and restore SLAs are consistently met across multi‑engine estates.
