We are seeking an experienced Backend Technical Lead - .NET with 8+ years of experience in .NET Core, C#, PostgreSQL, and AWS to lead backend development and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in microservices architecture, REST APIs, healthcare integrations, and HIPAA compliance, along with proven technical leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead backend development using .NET Core, C#, Web API, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
- Design and implement scalable microservices architectures and secure RESTful APIs.
- Lead, mentor, and review the work of backend developers to maintain high engineering standards.
- Optimize database performance, application security, scalability, and system reliability.
- Develop and maintain healthcare integrations using HL7, FHIR, XML, and EMR/EHR systems.
- Ensure HIPAA compliance, protect Protected Health Information (PHI), and follow secure data-handling practices.
- Drive technical decisions, architecture improvements, code quality, and development best practices.
- Support CI/CD implementation, deployment processes, and production issue resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable backend solutions that meet business and healthcare requirements.




- Identify technical risks, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive continuous improvement across backend systems.

Preferred Experience

- 8+ years of experience in backend development using .NET Core, C#, Web API, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, RESTful API development, and distributed systems.
- Experience with healthcare applications, EMR/EHR systems, and HL7, FHIR, or XML-based integrations.
- Understanding of HIPAA compliance, healthcare data security, and PHI protection.
- Proven experience leading backend teams, mentoring developers, and conducting code and architecture reviews.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional technical initiatives is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, decision-making, and technical leadership skills.
