Role Description

This is a full-time, in office role based in the Greater Kolkata Area for a Lathe Operator.

The Lathe

Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining lathe machines to manufacture or modify mechanical components as per technical specifications. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting engineering drawings,



performing precision machining and milling operations, and conducting routine maintenance checks to ensure machine efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in Technical Drawing and Engineering Drawings interpretation
- Skilled in Machine Operation and advanced lathe functionalities
- Experience in Milling and machining processes
- Knowledge of machine Maintenance procedures and troubleshooting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision and accuracy
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in an on-site industrial environment
- Prior experience in a similar role is a plus
- Technical certification or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred
