Company Description Design by Disha Subramanium is a New Delhi–based studio specializing in ultra-luxury residential interiors that blend aesthetics with architecture and beauty with logic. The practice is known for emotionally resonant spaces with a robust sense of drama, created through tension, contrast, and refined use of light and shadow rather than loudness. Projects are driven by obsessive attention to detail, from millimeter-precise margins and cornice shadows to material selection and how natural light interacts with surfaces.

Design choices are purposeful and client-centric, prioritizing identity over trends and ensuring that every element is intentional. The studio emphasizes execution excellence, using clear drawings, strong site coordination, and vendor management to create spaces that feel effortless yet reveal layered storytelling over time.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Interior Designer role based in Recent Delhi.

The Junior Interior

Designer will support the lead designer in developing concepts, preparing presentations, and translating design narratives into detailed interior layouts and mood boards. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with space planning, producing and updating construction and interior drawings, coordinating FF&E; selections, and maintaining organized documentation of specifications and schedules. The role involves site visits for measurements and progress checks, liaising with vendors and fabricators,



and helping ensure that design intent is accurately executed on site.

The Junior Interior

Designer will collaborate closely with the studio team, contribute creative ideas, and uphold the brand’s standards of precision, drama, and purpose in every project.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to translate concepts into clear, functional layouts.
- Candidates should possess foundational Architecture understanding, including spatial relationships and alignment between interiors and structural elements.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in preparing and reading Construction Drawings, including detailed plans, sections, and joinery details.
- Candidates should possess FF&E; skills, including selection of finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment that align with luxury residential design standards.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), and basic presentation tools.
- Solid visual and material sensibility, with a keen eye for detail, proportion, and composition.
- Ability to work on site full-time in New Delhi, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate effectively in a small, high-performance design team.
- Prior internship or junior-level experience in high-end residential interiors is an advantage.
