Role Description The Junior Java Developer will support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications that enhance the organization’s educational and planning services. In this full-time, on-site role based in Pune Division, the developer will write clean and efficient Java code, assist in implementing microservices, and work with the Spring Framework under the guidance of senior engineers. Daily responsibilities include debugging issues, participating in code reviews, collaborating with cross-functional teams,



and contributing to technical documentation.

The role involves learning and applying best practices in software development while helping build tools that improve access to college planning and financial literacy resources.

Qualifications

- Robust foundation in Programming and Java, with the ability to write, test, and debug code.
- Knowledge of Software Development principles, including object-oriented design and version control tools.
- Familiarity with Microservices architecture and related patterns for building scalable applications.
- Basic understanding of Spring Framework or similar Java frameworks used for enterprise applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
