Role Description The Junior Architect role at Hadspace is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. In this role, the team member supports senior architects in developing design concepts, preparing drawings, and creating 3D models and presentations for residential, commercial, and interior projects. Daily responsibilities include assisting with space planning, material selection, and design documentation, as well as coordinating with consultants and vendors to support project execution.

The Junior

Architect contributes to design reviews, updates project files, and helps ensure that design intent, functionality, and aesthetic standards are maintained throughout each project.



This position offers hands-on experience across the full design process, from concept to execution, in a collaborative studio environment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess foundational skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, including concept development, space planning, and preparation of design drawings.
- Candidates should possess skills in Project Management, such as organizing design documentation, tracking project progress, and coordinating with internal teams and external partners.
- Candidates should possess relevant Software Development and Integration skills in the context of architectural tools, including proficiency with design and visualization software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite) and the ability to integrate these tools into the design workflow.
- Candidates should possess robust visual and technical communication skills, including the ability to present ideas clearly through sketches, 3D models, and written documentation.
- Beneficial qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Architecture or an equivalent field, knowledge of building codes and standards, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to working in design teams.
- Additional beneficial skills include an interest in contemporary design, material research, sustainable design practices, and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced studio setting.
