Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Jewelry Designer role based in Surat.

The Jewelry

Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and sketching new diamond jewelry designs, translating creative ideas into detailed technical drawings and CAD models. Daily tasks include collaborating with gemologists, craftsmen, and production teams to align design concepts with stone quality, setting techniques, and manufacturing capabilities. The role involves refining designs based on feedback, ensuring practicality, comfort, and durability while preserving aesthetic appeal and brand identity.





The Jewelry

Designer will also support collection development, maintain design documentation, and stay current with luxury jewelry trends, materials, and finishes.

Qualifications

- Robust jewelry design skills, including hand sketching, concept development, and visual storytelling.
- Proficiency with jewelry CAD software (e.g., Rhino, Matrix, JewelCAD) and familiarity with technical drawings.
- Knowledge of diamonds and gemstones, including cut, clarity, color, and setting styles, with attention to Heart & Arrow diamonds.
- Understanding of jewelry manufacturing processes, metalworking, and quality standards for luxury products.
- Excellent sense of aesthetics, detail orientation, and ability to design for both functionality and comfort.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with design, production, and merchandising teams.
- Ability to manage multiple design projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to feedback in a fast-paced environment.
- Formal education in jewelry design, fine arts, fashion design, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in luxury or fine jewelry design is an advantage.
