ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Intern – Genomics, Bioinformatics & Sales Support, you will work at the crossroads of science and business, combining technical research with sales and customer engagement across next-generation sequencing (NGS), bioinformatics and molecular diagnostics. You will learn how advanced genomic technologies are positioned, sold and supported – building a strong foundation for a career in technical sales, business development or life-science solutions.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

TECHNICAL RESEARCH

Research genomics, NGS and bioinformatics applications, workflows and emerging technologies relevant to diagnostic and research laboratories.

Track market trends, competitor offerings and customer needs, and distil findings into clear, actionable insights.

SALES ENABLEMENT

Prepare technical presentations, product summaries, quotations and sales materials that communicate complex science with clarity.





Maintain accurate sales documentation and customer databases to keep the pipeline organised and up to date.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Identify and shortlist prospective customers across diagnostic labs, hospitals, research institutes and universities.

Support lead generation, customer follow-ups and meetings, helping turn conversations into long-term partnerships.

MARKETING & OUTREACH

Assist in planning and running workshops, webinars and marketing activities that strengthen brand visibility in the genomics community.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Background : Students or recent graduates in Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Genetics, Microbiology, Biochemistry or Life Sciences.

Skills : Strong communication, research and presentation skills; working knowledge of MS Office / Excel.

Advantage: Basic knowledge of molecular biology or sequencing is desirable; Python / R and bioinformatics tools are a plus, not mandatory.

Mindset: Genuine interest in technical sales, customer engagement and business development.
