Role Description The Interior Architect will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing interior architectural solutions for EDC’s office and project spaces in Bengaluru. Day-to-day tasks include developing space plans, creating detailed interior layouts, coordinating interior fit-out works, and ensuring that design concepts align with functional, aesthetic, and safety requirements. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and contractors, preparing drawings and specifications,



and monitoring on-site execution to maintain design integrity, quality, and timelines.

The Interior

Architect will also contribute to material selection, lighting design, ergonomics, and workplace standards to support a productive and engaging environment. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust skills in Space Planning and Interior Design to create efficient, user-focused layouts.
- Candidates should possess core Architecture and Interior Architecture skills to develop integrated, compliant, and technically sound design solutions.
- Candidates should possess Interior Fit-out experience to manage execution, materials, finishes, and coordination with contractors.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and familiarity with building codes and safety standards.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, work collaboratively with diverse teams, and communicate design concepts clearly.
- Experience with workplace or technology-driven environments and an understanding of ergonomic and user-centric design principles is an advantage.
