## 1. Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient ICT Active Head to lead and manage active IT infrastructure systems, including network switches, routers, servers, wireless networks, CCTV, Access Control Systems, Building Management Systems (BMS), and related ICT infrastructure.

The candidate will be responsible for technical planning, system configuration, implementation, troubleshooting, commissioning, team management, and project coordination. The role requires strong knowledge of networking, data centre infrastructure, system integration, and ICT operations, along with excellent reporting and documentation skills.

## 2. Key Roles & Responsibilities

### A. ICT Active Infrastructure Management

- Lead the implementation, configuration, integration, and commissioning of active ICT infrastructure systems.
- Manage network switches, routers, servers, wireless access points, network controllers, and associated equipment.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and integration of CCTV surveillance systems, Access Control Systems, and BMS interfaces, as applicable to project scope.
- Ensure proper connectivity and integration between active equipment and passive infrastructure, including racks, patch panels, Cat-6 cabling, and fibre-optic networks.
- Ensure systems operate efficiently and comply with approved technical specifications and project requirements.

### B. Network Planning & Configuration
- Plan and manage network architecture, IP addressing, VLANs, routing, switching, and network segmentation as required.
- Configure and troubleshoot managed switches, routers, servers, and other active network devices.
- Coordinate network connectivity, fibre links, patching, and equipment integration with passive infrastructure teams.
- Monitor network performance, connectivity, availability, and system reliability.
- Maintain network diagrams, IP address records, configuration backups, and other technical documentation.

### C. CCTV, Access Control & BMS Integration
- Supervise the configuration, testing, and commissioning of CCTV cameras, Network Video Recorders (NVRs), Video Management Systems (VMS), and associated network components.
- Oversee the integration and operation of Access Control Systems, including controllers, readers, and management software.
- Coordinate the integration of BMS interfaces with relevant ICT and monitoring systems, where applicable.
- Troubleshoot communication, connectivity, configuration, and integration issues.
- Ensure system functionality is verified against approved drawings, specifications, and client requirements.

### D. Project Execution & Site Coordination
- Plan and monitor ICT active system installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning activities at the CCS site.
- Prepare project schedules, resource plans, deployment plans, and activity trackers.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, technicians, vendors, consultants, and client representatives.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
- Identify technical risks, material requirements, site constraints, and dependencies,



and escalate issues to management.
- Ensure the availability of approved drawings, equipment, software licences, and other required resources.

### E. Testing, Commissioning & Quality Assurance
- Prepare and execute testing and commissioning plans for active ICT systems.
- Verify equipment configuration, connectivity, performance, and interoperability.
- Ensure compliance with approved designs, technical specifications, manufacturer recommendations, and applicable standards.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks to identify and resolve installation or configuration deficiencies.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system demonstrations, and client handovers.
- Ensure all observations and defects are documented, tracked, and closed within agreed timelines.

### F. Troubleshooting & Technical Support
- Lead the diagnosis and resolution of network outages, hardware failures, configuration issues, and system integration problems.
- Provide technical guidance to engineers and technicians during installation, testing, and maintenance.
- Coordinate with OEMs, system integrators, and vendors for technical support and warranty-related issues.
- Analyse recurring faults and implement corrective and preventive measures.
- Support preventive maintenance and operational continuity of deployed ICT systems.

### G. Team Leadership & Resource Management
- Lead, supervise, and mentor ICT engineers, network engineers, technicians, and other assigned team members.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor daily work progress.
- Review manpower deployment, productivity, work quality, and adherence to project schedules.
- Conduct technical briefings and knowledge-sharing sessions for the team.
- Ensure team members follow site safety requirements and approved working procedures.

### H. Documentation & Management Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports.
- Develop professional PowerPoint presentations, Excel trackers, dashboards, and technical reports for management and client reviews.
- Maintain network diagrams, equipment lists, configuration records, test reports, snag lists, and commissioning documentation.
- Prepare material requirement lists, technical compliance reports, and equipment status updates.
- Maintain as-built drawings, operation and maintenance (O&M;) manuals, warranty details, and handover records.
- Report project delays, technical challenges, resource gaps, and corrective action plans to management.

### I. Client, Vendor & Internal Coordination
- Act as the technical point of contact for ICT active systems at the assigned site.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, OEMs, vendors, and internal project teams.
- Participate in technical meetings, progress reviews, inspections, and commissioning discussions.
- Ensure timely resolution of client observations and technical queries.
- Coordinate with procurement and stores teams to ensure the timely availability of approved equipment and materials.

### J. Safety,



Security & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company policies, site safety procedures, and applicable technical standards.
- Follow secure network configuration practices, access control procedures, password management, and configuration backup protocols.
- Ensure appropriate protection of client data, system credentials, and confidential technical information.
- Maintain proper records of system changes, configuration updates, and maintenance activities.

## 3. Educational Qualifications
- B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Relevant certifications in networking, cybersecurity, CCTV, or ICT infrastructure will be an added advantage.

## 4. Experience Required
- Minimum 8-15 years of relevant experience in ICT active infrastructure, network implementation, system integration, or infrastructure projects.
- Prior experience leading engineers and technicians at project sites is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with network switches, routers, servers, IP networking, CCTV, Access Control Systems, and BMS integration.
- Experience in data centres, government infrastructure projects, or large-scale ICT deployments will be preferred.

## 5. Technical Skills
- Solid knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, and IP addressing.
- Practical experience with managed switches, routers, servers, and network troubleshooting.
- Understanding of fibre-optic and structured cabling infrastructure.
- Knowledge of CCTV, NVR/VMS, Access Control Systems, and BMS integration.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and project reporting.
- Ability to read technical drawings, network diagrams, BOQs, and equipment specifications.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools, configuration management, and testing procedures.

## 7. Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or relevant vendor-specific ICT certifications.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals and network security practices.
- Experience with data centre infrastructure and monitoring systems.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, network design tools, and project management software.
- Experience with government, enterprise, or mission-critical infrastructure projects.

## 8. Working Conditions
- The position is site-based at CCS and may require travel to other project locations as per business requirements.
- Flexibility to work beyond standard working hours during critical installations, testing, commissioning, or project deadlines.
- Ability to manage multiple technical priorities and work effectively under pressure.
