Rainbow Group is a Thane-based group of businesses that includes Rainbow International School (CBSE, K–12), the Rainbow Preschool International chain of centres, and brands in food, jewellery and cosmetics. We're looking for an HR Manager to own people operations across the group.

What you'll do

- Run end-to-end hiring for teaching, admissions, sales, marketing and support roles across the group – job boards, agency and referral pipeline, interviews and offers
- Own onboarding, induction, confirmation and exit processes, including documentation and full & final settlements
- Manage HR operations: attendance and leave (biometric and ERP), payroll inputs, PF/ESIC/PT and other statutory compliance
- Build and run the performance management cycle – goal setting, reviews, appraisals and PIPs
- Draft and enforce HR policies and the employee handbook; handle grievances and disciplinary matters
- Plan staff training,



engagement activities and retention initiatives
- Keep HR records and MIS up to date, and report hiring and attrition numbers to leadership
- Work with heads of department and the principal/centre heads on workforce planning

What we're looking for

- 6–10 years in HR, including at least 2–3 years as an HR Manager or HR generalist lead
- Hands-on with recruitment, payroll coordination and statutory labour law compliance
- Experience in education, schools or a multi-unit business is a strong plus
- MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent
- Clear communication in English, Hindi and Marathi; strong people skills and comfort working with senior leadership
- Based in or near Thane, able to work on-site full time (Mon–Sat)
