With properties in Mumbai and Jaipur, we're now looking for someone who can help us strengthen our existing business and lead our next phase of growth.

We're looking for a business-minded hospitality professional who thinks like an owner, not just an operator.

The RoleAs our Head of Operations & Growth, you'll take ownership of the commercial and operational performance of our properties while helping identify, evaluate and launch future Hammock Hostels locations.

This is a hands-on leadership role with real responsibility, autonomy and the opportunity to grow alongside the business.

What You'll Be Responsible For1. Revenue & Commercial Performance

- Own revenue, occupancy, ADR and profitability targets across properties.
- Lead OTA strategy, pricing, promotions and direct-booking initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to grow ancillary revenue through tours, experiences, events and partnerships.
- Analyse performance data and implement strategies to improve results.

2. Financial & P&L; Management

- Take ownership of property-level P&Ls;, budgets and operating margins.
- Monitor expenses, negotiate vendor contracts and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop financial forecasts and ensure properties operate efficiently and profitably.

3. People & Leadership

- Lead, mentor and hold Property Managers accountable for performance.
- Oversee hiring, training, performance management and team development.
- Build a culture of ownership, accountability and exceptional hospitality.

4. Guest Experience & Brand

- Ensure consistently high standards of cleanliness, safety and guest satisfaction.




- Strengthen the community-driven experience that defines Hammock Hostels.
- Monitor guest feedback and turn insights into meaningful improvements.

5. Expansion & New Property Launches

- Research new markets and identify potential hostel locations.
- Source and evaluate properties based on commercial viability.
- Develop feasibility studies, budgets and business projections.
- Coordinate property setup, recruitment, vendor onboarding and launch execution.

6. Systems & Business Improvement

- Build scalable processes, SOPs and performance dashboards.
- Improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Develop systems that allow Hammock Hostels to grow without compromising quality.

Who We're Looking For

- Ideally 5–8 years of relevant experience in hospitality, hostels, boutique hotels or budget accommodation.
- Solid understanding of revenue management, OTAs, occupancy, ADR and property-level profitability.
- Experience managing teams and taking responsibility for business performance.
- Commercially minded, analytical and comfortable working with numbers.
- Resourceful, hands-on and able to thrive in a growing business.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation and leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel and take ownership beyond a traditional .

Experience with new-property launches, understanding state licenses and government procedures is a plus, but not mandatory. Why Join Hammock Hostels?

Compensation₹4.8- ₹5.0 lakhs p.a - with opportunities for performance-based growth incentives as the business scales.
