- Role Description The Head – Finance Operations will oversee end-to-end finance and accounting activities for The Chennai Silks, ensuring accurate financial reporting and solid internal controls. This full-time, on-site role is based in Tiruppur and involves leading the finance team, reviewing financial statements, managing budgeting processes, and monitoring cash flow and working capital. The role includes establishing and refining financial policies, coordinating audits, ensuring statutory and tax compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making through financial analysis and insights. The Head – Finance Operations will collaborate closely with senior leadership, store operations, and other functional teams to align financial performance with business objectives, optimize costs, and support expansion initiatives.



The position also requires regular performance reviews, process improvements, and implementation of best practices in financial systems and tools and Female Candidates preferred

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong expertise in Finance and Accounting, with a deep understanding of core finance operations within a multi-location retail or textile environment.
- Candidates should possess skills in Financial Statements and Budgeting, including preparation, review, variance analysis, and forecasting to support strategic planning.
- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and recommend data-driven actions to improve profitability and efficiency.
- Relevant qualifications such as a Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost Accountant, MBA in Finance, or equivalent professional degree are highly beneficial.
- Experience in leading finance teams, implementing internal controls, and managing audits and compliance in a large retail or manufacturing setup is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in ERP/financial software, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with Indian accounting standards and tax regulations will be advantageous.
- Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, are essential.
