We're looking for a curious, hands-on Forward Deployed Engineer who wants to build software that solves real-world problems and reaches production quickly.

This role is for engineers who enjoy working across the stack, getting close to how systems actually work, and turning ideas into reliable solutions. You'll work through the entire engineering lifecycle—from understanding problems and designing solutions to coding, reviewing, testing, deploying, and iterating.

You'll also work with AI-powered development tools, using them to accelerate delivery while applying your own engineering judgment to validate code, identify risks, and ensure quality.

What You'll Do

- Build and ship: Develop production-ready features using TypeScript and JavaScript across the stack.
- Solve real-world problems: Translate requirements and practical challenges into working software solutions.
- Own the development lifecycle: Participate in design, implementation, code review, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
- Work with data: Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries against real-world datasets.
- Review code critically: Evaluate human-written and AI-generated code for correctness, architecture, maintainability, performance, and security.
- Debug systematically:



Investigate failures, understand error messages, trace issues to their root causes, and implement reliable fixes.
- Collaborate and iterate: Work closely with teammates to deliver solutions quickly without compromising engineering fundamentals.

What We're Looking For

- TypeScript / JavaScript​: Strong fundamentals, including async/await, promises, and using types to design reliable systems.
- SQL: Hands-on experience writing queries, using joins, understanding indexes, and identifying performance bottlenecks.
- Git: Comfortable with branches, commits, merge vs. rebase, reading diffs, and resolving conflicts.
- HTTP & REST APIs: Understanding of request/response flows, status codes, authentication headers, and API integration.
- Engineering judgment: Ability to test your code, verify assumptions, interpret errors, and explain why your solution works.
- Code review mindset: Willingness to challenge code including AI-generated code and identify potential architectural, delivery, and security issues.
- Learning agility: Strong fundamentals, curiosity, independent research skills, and a willingness to take ownership of unfamiliar problems.

Nice to Have

- Experience shipping projects in Java, Python, Go, or other programming languages.
- Familiarity with AI coding assistants and AI-driven development workflows.
- Personal projects, open-source contributions, or applications you've built and deployed.
- Experience integrating APIs, debugging production issues, or working directly with users to understand their needs.
