Role Overview & Key Responsibilities

This role focuses on hands-on administration, operational support, and optimization of the enterprise Elastic Stack running on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

- Elastic Stack Operations: Build, maintain, and optimize Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Elastic Agents/Beats. Manage index lifecycle policies, data ingestion pipelines, custom dashboards, and automated alerting.
- AKS & Cloud Infrastructure: Support and troubleshoot the underlying AKS environment hosting ELK components—managing deployments, pod health, resource allocation, and autoscaling.
- Platform Health & Troubleshooting: Drive capacity planning,



performance tuning, platform upgrades, incident/problem resolution, and operational automation.

Candidate Technical Profile

- Core Observability Stack (Strong): Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Elastic Agent/Beats, Data Ingestion, Dashboards & Alerting.
- Containerization & Cloud (Good to Strong): Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Kubernetes networking, Pod management, Azure fundamentals.
- Systems & Scripting (Robust / Working Knowledge): Deep Linux administration, REST APIs, JSON, and automation via Shell, Python, or PowerShell.
- Core Fundamentals: Data center operations, networking/security fundamentals, and ITIL-aligned Incident/Problem Management.
