Role Description This full-time, on-site Design For Testability Engineer role is based in Bengaluru South. The engineer will design and implement testability features for complex products, collaborating closely with design, mechanical, electrical, and product engineering teams to ensure efficient testing throughout the product lifecycle. Daily responsibilities include reviewing product designs for test coverage, developing and refining test strategies and fixtures, and optimizing CAD models and documentation for manufacturing and validation.

The role also involves analyzing test data, troubleshooting design and test issues,



working with cross-functional stakeholders to improve product reliability, and supporting continuous improvement of test processes and standards within ACL Digital.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid skills in Design Engineering and Product Design to create testable, robust, and scalable product architectures.
- Candidates should possess Mechanical Engineering and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills to develop detailed models, fixtures, and assemblies that support efficient testing and manufacturing.
- Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering skills to collaborate on testable circuit designs, interfaces, and system-level integration.
- Relevant experience in Design for Testability (DFT), Design for Manufacturing (DFM), and Design for Reliability (DFR) is highly beneficial.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and standards, and to use common engineering and test tools effectively.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and quality.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work within cross-functional, multicultural teams.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Product Design, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
