Job SummaryWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Design, Tender & Estimation Engineer to support the preparation of fire fighting system designs, technical drawings, tender documents, BOQs and cost estimates for industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities1. Design & Engineering

- Prepare fire fighting system layouts, piping layouts and equipment arrangements.
- Study architectural, structural and MEP drawings to identify fire protection requirements.
- Assist in pump selection and preparation of technical submittals.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable NFPA standards, NBC requirements and project specifications.

2. Tendering & Technical Documentation

- Review tender documents, technical specifications, scope of work and client requirements.
- Prepare technical compliance statements, tender submissions and technical offers.
- Identify deviations, exclusions and clarifications required in tender documents.
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams for technical clarifications.

3. Estimation & BOQ Preparation

- Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ), material take-offs and project cost estimates.




- Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Estimate material, labour, installation and other project costs.
- Assist in preparing commercial quotations and tender cost summaries.

4. Coordination & Documentation

- Coordinate with the Sales, Procurement and Project Execution teams.
- Maintain tender records, drawings, quotations and estimation files.
- Support project handover by preparing relevant technical and commercial documents.

Required Skills
- Basic design knowledge of fire fighting systems.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand technical specifications.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is a must.
- Attention to detail, analytical ability and valuable coordination skills.
- Willingness to learn fire protection design, tendering and estimation practices.

Eligibility
- Candidates with up to 1 years of relevant experience shall apply.
- Candidates with exposure to fire fighting projects will be preferred.
- Candidates should be willing to learn and work in a project-oriented environment.
