Responsible for managing work management (Receipt/Issues/FIFO/WMS/Stock Reconciliation) in the area of SQCDDM in Warehouse including ensuring safety, preparing effective plans, documentation and reporting along with development of manpower
Roles & Responsibilities-
-Ensure making the job standard for different operations and making all the warehouse members follow the said rules
- Prepare check-sheet to ensure all the equipments used in the warehouse are in proper and secure condition
-Ensure proper planning for off-loading of vehicles, stacking of material and issuing of material
- Allocate and distribute manpower to execute daily work effectively and efficiently
-Generate the ageing report for raw materials and communicate with planners and section head to eliminate slow moving stocks
- Capture the data of raw material mishandling, discuss with concerned persons and provide proper training and instructions to all the warehouse members during tool- box meeting
- Monitor and verify the recording of receiving, handling and issuing of raw material as per system on daily basis
- Plan manpower for physical stock taking, prepare the reconciliation of physical and system stock to close the inventory book for the month
-Ensure periodic (monthly or biannually)
review of TS/QS/TQM systems with the Section head to ensure all systems related to quality requirements are followed in the raw material warehouse
- Prepare monthly data for MIS report of all activities in raw material warehouse (Inventory summary, Material Handling, ageing, detention and safety) to track them and have a check on all of these
-Organise tool box meeting/ shift meeting at the beginning of every shift to discuss the new plans and job related issues to spread awareness among team members
- Stimulate the members of raw material warehouse to participate in QC circle, safety and 5's activities
-To ensure and monitor the SOP related to safety both in plant ( WH) as well as transport are followed for smooth logistics operations
-To ensure execution of customer schedules on time and in right quantity
-To set guidelines for induction, retirement of fleet
-Assess the requirment of fleet
-To recommed the new transporter
-To guidelines for transporters for theer operations withing plant and at customer locations
-Tobuildandmaintainhighmoraleandmotivation among the dispatch team.
Role Requirements-
1. 8-12 years of total experience in SCM/SCPL
2. B.Tech/B.E. Mechanical
3. Industry Preference- Auto/Manufacturing
4. Language Preference- Marathi
