About the Role The Junior Compliance Executive will support the Compliance function in ensuring adherence to RBI regulations, internal policies, and statutory requirements applicable to an NBFC engaged in MSME lending. The role involves compliance monitoring, reporting, and coordination with internal teams.

Location: Mumbai

Qualifications & Experience

- Graduate in Commerce, Law, Finance, or Management / CA/ CS
- Certification/courseload in Compliance, Banking, or Risk is an added advantage
- Candidates with 1–3 years’ experience in regulatory compliance (primarily RBI)
- Exposure to NBFC/Banking/Financial Services preferred
- Knowledge of MSME lending products is a plus

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in ensuring compliance with RBI guidelines, NBFC Master Directions, and regulatory circulars.
- Support timely submission of regulatory returns, filings, and disclosures to RBI and other authorities.
- Track regulatory updates and assist in assessing their applicability and impact.




- Support implementation and monitoring of internal compliance policies, SOPs, and controls.
- Assist in compliance checks for MSME loan processes, documentation, and onboarding.
- Maintain compliance checklists, trackers, registers, and records.
- Assist during internal audits, statutory audits, and RBI inspections.
- Collate data and documentation required for audits and compliance reviews.
- Prepare basic MIS, reports, and compliance dashboards.
- Coordinate with various functions for compliance-related requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation for compliance reviews, approvals, and filings.
- Any other assignments allocated as per organisation’s requirements

Skills & Competencies

- Basic understanding of RBI regulations applicable to NBFCs
- Attention to detail and strong documentation skills
- Ability to track deadlines and follow up effectively
- Positive communication and coordination skills
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
