WE’RE HIRING | COMMUNICATIONS & PR MANAGER

BAM — Bureau of Architecture Media is looking for a Communications & PR Manager to join our growing team.

We work at the intersection of architecture, design, media and communications, helping architecture and design practices build stronger visibility and reputations through editorial PR, content and strategic communications.

We’re looking for someone who is curious, articulate, organised and proactive: someone who enjoys discovering good stories and figuring out how to get them in front of the right audience.

THE ROLE

You will work closely with the BAM team across:

Researching architecture and design studios, publications, editors and media

Supporting PR strategies and editorial outreach for clients

Writing and preparing press releases, project stories, pitches and emails

Identifying relevant media and editorial opportunities

Managing outreach and follow-ups with editors and publications

Coordinating project information, images, credits and press materials

Supporting Instagram and LinkedIn content and communications

Preparing presentations, proposals and communication plans

Tracking outreach, media conversations and coverage

Coordinating with clients and the internal team to keep projects moving

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

0–2 years of experience in PR, communications, media,



content, marketing or a related field

Robust written and verbal communication skills

Good research and storytelling abilities

Strong attention to detail and organisation

Comfortable communicating with clients, editors and external stakeholders

Proactive, curious and willing to learn

Able to manage multiple tasks and follow through independently A genuine interest in architecture, design, culture and the creative industries An educational or professional background in architecture, interior design or a related design field will be considered a strong plus.

Fresh graduates with a strong interest in communications and architecture/design are also encouraged to apply.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You don’t need to know everything about PR when you join us.

We’re looking for someone who is willing to learn, take ownership and think beyond simply completing a task.
