About the RoleNA EKOBLOC PVT LTD is looking for a senior, hands-on Chief Operating Officer to coordinate the company’s key functions: Production, Maintenance, Quality, Dispatch and Sales.

The COO will work closely with department heads to set priorities, review performance, resolve operational issues and improve coordination across the business. The role reports directly to the Managing Director and requires regular attention to both plant operations and overall business performance.

Experience in AAC block manufacturing is welcome, but it is not compulsory. We are also open to candidates from related manufacturing industries who have successfully led multiple departments in a production-driven business.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate Production, Maintenance, Quality, Dispatch and Sales functions.
- Set clear department-wise goals and review performance against agreed targets.
- Identify strong and underperforming areas, understand the reasons and lead corrective action.
- Monitor production output, plant utilisation, downtime, quality, rejection, wastage and operating costs.
- Improve coordination between production planning, inventory, dispatch schedules and customer commitments.
- Ensure preventive maintenance is carried out and recurring breakdowns are addressed.
- Strengthen quality control and ensure customer complaints are investigated and resolved.
- Review dispatch planning, delivery timelines and order fulfilment.
- Work with the Sales team to review enquiries, orders, sales performance, customer commitments and market feedback.




- Build accountability among department heads through regular reviews and clear ownership of actions.
- Develop practical systems and reports to track operational and business performance.
- Present regular performance reports, key issues and action plans to the Managing Director.
- Support the MD with business planning, budgeting, productivity improvement and growth initiatives.
- Promote secure working practices and compliance with applicable requirements.

Candidate Profile
- 15+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial operations, with senior management experience.
- Experience leading multiple functions in a production-driven company.
- Candidates from AAC blocks, cement, concrete products, building materials, ceramics, chemicals, steel or other process and industrial manufacturing sectors may be considered.
- AAC block industry experience is an advantage, but not a requirement.
- Strong understanding of production, maintenance, quality systems, dispatch and commercial coordination.
- Able to analyse performance data, identify operational gaps and drive practical improvements.
- Strong leadership, communication, planning and decision-making skills.
- Comfortable working with teams on the plant floor and presenting performance reviews to senior management.
- Working knowledge of spreadsheets, ERP or MIS reporting systems.
