About the Role

White 'N' White Minerals Pvt. Ltd. is a premier manufacturer and supplier of Quicklime, Hydrated Lime, Calcined Lime lumps/powder, and Limestone. We are seeking an assertive, technically sharp Travelling Chemist / Field QA Specialist to represent our quality standards directly at customer facilities across India.

This is not a bench-only lab job. You will be our technical frontline representative: visiting client facilities (including major steel plants, chemical units, and mineral processors), building rapport with plant QA/procurement teams, and taking full technical ownership during joint sampling, dispute arbitrations, quality audits, and consignment rejection crises.

Key Responsibilities

- Field Testing & Crisis Joint Sampling

- Travel on short notice to client sites during quality disputes, penalty notices, or consignment rejections.
- Execute standardized, bias-free joint testing side-by-side with client QA teams to defend product specifications.
- Enforce proper ASTM/IS sampling protocols (cross-sectional, composite, moisture-sealed) to prevent biased or contaminated sampling at unloading points.
- Verify laboratory parameters on-site: Available Lime Index (Rapid Sugar Method / ASTM C25), Total CaO, CaCO3, MgO, SiO2, Loss on Ignition (LOI), Acid Insoluble Matter, Reactivity / Slaking Rate, Residue (+300 / +90 mesh),



and Total Moisture.

2. Quality Defense & Root Cause Analysis
- Investigate transit degradation, moisture absorption, atmospheric slaking, or handling issues causing off-spec readings.
- Prepare unbiased technical joint inspection reports (JIR), counter-signed by client authorities.
- Coordinate with our plant quality teams to implement preventative and corrective actions based on field findings.

3. Reporting & Coordination
- Submit immediate digital site-inspection summaries, raw titration data, and photographs via MS Excel/ERP.
- Provide direct debriefs to Management and the Plant Head post every plant visit.

Candidate Profile
- B.Sc. in Chemistry (M.Sc. preferred).
- 5+ years of hands-on QC/Lab experience in Quicklime, Hydrated Lime, Calcined Lime, Limestone, Cement, or Steel Plant chemical laboratories.
- Mastery of Wet Chemistry: Titrations, volumetric analysis, EDTA methods, LOI testing, and slaking reactivity curves.
- Firm & Diplomatic Communicator: Capable of standing ground professionally on test procedures with client metallurgists and lab heads without escalating conflict.
- Willingness to Travel: Comfort with frequent multi-state travel (60–75% field presence) across major industrial belts.
- Knowledge of standard IS/ASTM test codes for lime and flux minerals.
