Role Description The Career Counselor will provide one-on-one and group counseling to students and job seekers, helping them identify career paths, set goals, and create actionable plans aligned with their interests and capabilities.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, organizing career workshops and orientation sessions, and delivering guidance on educational choices, skill development opportunities, and job readiness. The role involves close collaboration with trainers, placement teams,



and partner institutions to ensure coordinated support for learners. The counselor will maintain accurate records, track progress, and prepare reports on counseling outcomes and placement activities.

This is a full time, on-site role based in Jammu.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Career Counseling and Student Counseling to guide diverse learners effectively.
- Candidates should possess skills in Career Development and Career Management to design structured career plans and support long-term growth.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including active listening, clear articulation, and the ability to present to groups.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Education, Social Work, or a related field are beneficial.
- Experience in academic counseling, youth development, or employability training, preferably within skill development or education settings, is an advantage.
- Ability to work empathetically with learners from varied backgrounds, manage multiple cases, and use basic digital tools for documentation and reporting.
