About the RoleKhaitan India Limited is hiring an experienced and energetic sales leader as Business Manager – Hyderabad. This position is responsible for accelerating brand growth, expanding distribution reach, appointing creditworthy channel partners, and driving primary and secondary sales volumes across Hyderabad and surrounding territories. The ideal candidate brings extensive network-building capabilities, strong trade relationships with regional wholesale and retail counters, and proven team-handling skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Revenue &

• Sales Target Ownership: Drive and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual primary and secondary sales targets across Ceiling Fans, Geysers, and Home Appliances in the Hyderabad market.
- Distributor Network Architecture: Identify market coverage gaps, conduct financial due diligence, and appoint viable distributors, super-stockists, and key dealers across urban, semi-urban, and commercial belts.
- Secondary Sales &

- Counter Liquidation: Ensure steady retail counter throughput,



minimize distributor stock ageing, streamline order fulfillment, and secure prime shelf/counter space across major electrical retail outlets.
- Commercial Governance &
- Credit Management: Maintain strict discipline on market credit, payment collections, distributor ROI, billing integrity, and timely claims clearance.
- Field Team Leadership: Direct, coach, and review the performance of Area Sales Managers (ASMs), Territory Sales Officers (TSOs), and frontline sales personnel against defined beat plans and KPIs.
- Market Intelligence &
- Trade Schemes: Monitor competitor pricing, trade schemes, and new product movements from peer brands; design and execute localized counter-schemes and dealer display drives.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

- Experience: 10 to 12 years of hands-on channel sales and distribution management in the electrical/appliance trade, with strong exposure to Hyderabad and Telangana markets.
- Industry Background: Core background strictly within Ceiling Fans, Water Heaters/Geysers, and Home Appliances.
- Preferred Companies: Current or past experience with leading industry brands such as Havells, Atomberg, Crompton, Polycab, Orient Electric, V-Guard, USHA, Bajaj Electricals, or direct peers.

Core Competencies:

- Proven capability in building, onboarding, and scaling distributor networks from scratch.
- In-depth commercial understanding of Hyderabad’s electrical trade pockets (e.g., Troop Bazaar, Ranigunj, Secunderabad, and suburban dealer hubs).
- Fluency in Telugu and English (working knowledge of Hindi is an advantage).
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation ability, and frontline leadership skills.
