Role Description The Business Head – Unsecured Business Loan is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Delhi, India. This role is responsible for strategizing and driving the unsecured business loan portfolio, including product design, market positioning, and credit policies.

The Business

Head will oversee business development, channel partnerships, and branch-level performance to achieve growth and profitability targets. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing market trends, optimizing risk-return profiles, coordinating with credit, operations, and collections teams, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal compliance standards. The role also involves mentoring and managing a high-performing team,



setting clear KPIs, and implementing process improvements to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

- Strong experience in unsecured business lending, MSME financing, or retail lending, with a proven track record of managing and scaling loan portfolios.
- Expertise in credit risk assessment, underwriting frameworks, policy formulation, and portfolio monitoring for unsecured products.
- Demonstrated capability in business strategy, P&L; ownership, sales planning, and channel management within NBFCs or banking institutions.
- Proficiency in stakeholder management, team leadership, performance coaching, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Solid understanding of regulatory guidelines, compliance requirements, and industry best practices in the Indian financial services sector.
- Comfort with data-driven decision making, financial analysis, and use of technology-based lending platforms and CRM tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with internal teams, partners, and clients.
- Graduate degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred.
- Prior experience in a senior leadership role within an NBFC or bank in Delhi/NCR or similar markets
