Role Description The Barista/Senior Barista is a full-time, on-site role based at The Amore Surat in Surat. The individual will prepare and serve a range of coffee and specialty beverages, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality. Daily responsibilities include operating coffee equipment, handling food preparation related to beverages and light snacks, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the barista station and guest areas.

The role involves greeting guests, taking orders, answering questions about the menu, and providing courteous, efficient customer service throughout events and regular service hours.

Senior

Baristas may also guide junior team members, assist in training, manage inventory of coffee and related supplies, and support smooth coordination with the kitchen and service teams.

Qualifications





- Candidates should possess robust Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to engage guests professionally and create a welcoming environment.
- Candidates should possess Barista skills, including beverage preparation, coffee-making techniques, and safe handling of equipment.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact clearly with guests, colleagues, and supervisors.
- Candidates should possess Food Preparation skills relevant to coffee accompaniments, light snacks, and maintaining hygiene standards.
- Previous experience as a barista or in a café/restaurant setting is preferred, especially for the Senior Barista level.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as per event schedules.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and a guest-focused mindset are essential.
- Basic knowledge of health, safety, and food hygiene practices is beneficial.
