Role Description The Barista role at MadSign Media is a full-time, on-site position based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The Barista will prepare and serve coffee and other beverages, ensuring consistent quality and presentation. Day-to-day responsibilities include operating coffee equipment, handling food preparation for light snacks, maintaining a clean and organized service area, and managing inventory of ingredients and supplies.

The role also involves greeting guests, taking orders accurately, processing payments, and providing friendly, efficient customer service to staff,



clients, and visitors. The Barista will collaborate with the office and hospitality teams to support internal events and maintain a welcoming atmosphere in shared spaces.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess barista skills, including coffee preparation, beverage crafting, and safe operation of coffee equipment.
- Candidates should possess strong customer service and interpersonal skills to create a welcoming, skilled experience for guests and colleagues.
- Candidates should possess clear communication skills for taking orders, explaining menu items, and coordinating with the internal team.
- Candidates should possess food preparation skills for handling light snacks and following hygiene and safety standards.
- Prior experience in a café, hospitality, or customer-facing role is preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and manage a fast-paced service environment.
- Basic cash handling or POS system experience is an advantage.
