Role Description This full-time Automation Engineer role is an on-site position based in Gandhinagar.

The Automation

Engineer will design, implement, and maintain automation solutions for industrial systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware, software, and control systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and optimizing process control strategies, configuring and testing automation equipment, and ensuring reliable operation of electrical and robotic systems. The role involves diagnosing and resolving system issues, performing root-cause analysis,



and implementing improvements to increase efficiency, safety, and reliability.

The Automation

Engineer will also document technical specifications, support commissioning activities, and collaborate with stakeholders to align solutions with project and business objectives.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Automation and Process Control skills, including experience with industrial control systems and PLC/DCS programming.
- Candidates should possess solid Electrical Engineering skills, with knowledge of power systems, instrumentation, and control panel design.
- Candidates should possess Robotics-related skills, including configuration, integration, and maintenance of robotic or automated machinery.
- Candidates should possess effective Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing, testing, and resolving issues in complex automation and electrical systems.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience in industrial environments such as manufacturing, process industries, or asset-intensive sectors (e.g., energy, utilities, mining) is beneficial.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols, safety standards, and documentation practices is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams, manage priorities, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
