About the Role

MathCo is looking for a seasoned Information Security leader to drive and strengthen the organization's security posture across governance, risk, compliance, security operations, and customer assurance. This role will partner closely with technology, engineering, legal, HR, and business teams to ensure security remains a key enabler of growth while maintaining industry-leading standards and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead enterprise-wide information security governance, risk management, and compliance initiatives.
- Own and enhance security policies, frameworks, standards, and controls across the organization.
- Drive security audits, risk assessments, vulnerability management, and remediation programs.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and other applicable regulatory and customer requirements.
- Partner with engineering and cloud teams to embed security-by-design principles.




- Oversee security incident management, investigations, and response activities.
- Manage third-party security reviews, customer security assessments, and vendor risk programs.
- Drive security awareness and security culture initiatives across the organization.
- Provide security leadership for client due diligence, RFPs, and enterprise customer engagements.
- Monitor emerging cybersecurity threats and recommend proactive risk mitigation measures.

What We're Looking For

- 14-16 years of experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, IT Risk, or Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC).
- Strong expertise in information security governance, risk management, compliance, and security operations.
- Experience managing and maintaining certifications such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and privacy frameworks such as GDPR.
- Deep understanding of cloud security, identity and access management, vulnerability management, and incident response.
- Experience partnering with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders in high-growth organizations.
- Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and decision-making capabilities.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer are preferred.
- Prior experience in technology, analytics, consulting, SaaS, or product organizations is highly desirable.
