Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in the Pune Division. The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank and vendor accounts.

Responsibilities include preparing invoices, processing payments, handling accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring timely statutory compliance such as GST, TDS, and other relevant tax requirements. The role involves supporting month-end and year-end closing, assisting in the preparation of financial statements and management reports, and coordinating with internal teams and external auditors. The Accountant will also help monitor project-wise costs,



track budgets for solar installations, and provide accurate financial data to support decision-making.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills including bookkeeping, ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliation.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in financial reporting and compliance, including preparation of financial statements, GST and TDS filings, and familiarity with Indian accounting standards.
- Candidates should possess skills in using accounting and office software, such as Tally/ERP systems, MS Excel, and other financial tools for data analysis and record keeping.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in budgeting and cost monitoring, including tracking project expenses, supporting cost control, and assisting in variance analysis.
- Candidates should possess solid analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, vendors, and auditors.
- Relevant qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in accounting within the energy, infrastructure, or manufacturing sectors, or familiarity with project-based accounting, will be beneficial.
