Qualifications

- Strong foundation in financial accounting, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements.
- 1 year of experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring.
- Knowledge of taxation, compliance requirements, and familiarity with Indian accounting standards and relevant regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to maintain organized financial records.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a technology or startup company is beneficial,



along with a willingness to adapt and improve processes.

Role Description

This is a full time, on-site Accountant role based in Bengaluru. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial accounting activities, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling bank accounts. The role involves preparing financial statements, supporting month-end and year-end closing, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations.

The Accountant will handle accounts payable and receivable, monitor cash flows, and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities. The role also includes collaborating with internal teams, supporting audits, and providing accurate financial reports to management for decision-making.
