Role Description The Academic Program Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kangra, responsible for overseeing the design, coordination, and delivery of academic and enrichment programs aligned with The Meridian Academy’s vision. The individual will collaborate with educators to develop and refine curricula for Classes 6 to 12, ensuring integration of concept-based learning, STEM, and emerging technologies. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning academic schedules, monitoring program implementation, analyzing student performance data, and driving continuous improvement in teaching and learning practices.

The role also involves coordinating projects and workshops, managing stakeholder communication with students, families, and staff,



and ensuring that programs support both academic achievement and future-ready skills.

The Academic Program

Manager will provide leadership in maintaining quality standards and supporting mentors and teachers through training and guidance.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Program Management skills, including planning, coordination, and oversight of multiple academic initiatives.
- Candidates should possess experience in Curriculum Development, with the ability to design, adapt, and align content for middle and senior school students.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret student performance data, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, students, and families, and for clear documentation and reporting.
- Candidates should possess Project Management skills to organize workshops, technology labs, and special academic events from concept to completion.
- Relevant teaching or academic administration experience, preferably with Classes 6 to 12, is highly beneficial.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Education, Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with STEM education, emerging technologies (IoT, AI, ML), and experiential learning methodologies is an advantage.
- Ability to work in office in Kangra, demonstrate initiative, and uphold a student-centered, inclusive approach to education.
