Position Overview

Lingaya's Vidyapeeth invites applications from qualified, research-oriented, and motivated academicians for the position of Assistant Professor (HR & Analytics) in the School of Commerce & Management. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, engaging in research activities, mentoring students, and contributing to the academic and institutional development of the University in accordance with UGC Regulations, NEP 2020, and University policies.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Human Resource Management and Analytics, including Human Resource Management, Strategic Human Resource Management, Talent Management, Organizational Behaviour, Performance Management, Training & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, HR Analytics, People Analytics, Workforce Planning, and other allied subjects.
- Participate in curriculum development, course planning, and academic activities in line with UGC Regulations, NEP 2020, and industry requirements.
- Guide and mentor students in academic projects, dissertations, internships,



and other learning activities.
- Undertake quality research and publish research papers in UGC CARE-listed, Scopus, Web of Science, or other reputed indexed journals.
- Participate in conferences, seminars, workshops, Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs), and other academic activities.
- Contribute to research projects, consultancy assignments, industry collaborations, and other institutional research initiatives.
- Participate in departmental and institutional committees, IQAC, NAAC, NBA, NIRF, and other academic and administrative activities as assigned.
- Support student admissions, examinations, student mentoring, outreach activities, and other institutional responsibilities.
- Perform academic, administrative, and other responsibilities assigned by the University from time to time.

- Eligibility Criteria Assistant Professor (HR & Analytics)

- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com.), Business Administration (BBA), or a relevant discipline from a recognized University.
- Master's Degree in Commerce (M.Com.) with specialization in Human Resource Management or Master of Business Administration (MBA) with specialization in Human Resource Management / Human Resources / Business Analytics from a recognized University.
- UGC-NET is mandatory.
- Candidates with a Ph.D.



in Management / Commerce / Human Resource Management / HR Analytics / Business Analytics or a relevant area will be preferred.
- Robust academic record with relevant teaching, research, or industry exposure.
- Candidates should have demonstrated interest or experience in Human Resource Management, HR Analytics, People Analytics, Organizational Behaviour, Talent Management, or allied areas.
- Research publications in UGC CARE-listed, Scopus, Web of Science, or other reputed indexed journals will be preferred.
- Eligibility shall be in accordance with the latest UGC Regulations and University norms.

- Desirable Skills & Competencies

- Strong academic knowledge of Human Resource Management, Strategic HRM, Talent Management, Organizational Behaviour, Performance Management, Training & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, HR Analytics, and People Analytics.
- Good teaching, communication, presentation, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HR analytics, statistical analysis, data visualization, and analytical tools/software such as MS Excel, SPSS, R, Python, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent platforms.
- Ability to integrate data-driven approaches and analytics into HR and management education.
- Research orientation with the ability to publish quality research papers and participate in academic projects.
- Industry exposure, consultancy experience, or experience in HR analytics will be an added advantage.
- Commitment to academic excellence, innovation, ethical practices, multidisciplinary learning, and student-centric education.
