We are looking for an AI Copy Editor with 1-3 years of experience to develop, refine and optimize scripts and text content for AI-generated videos and YouTube videos. The candidate will use AI-powered writing tools to convert news articles, research and content briefs into engaging video scripts while ensuring factual accuracy, clarity, and editorial quality.

Key Responsibilities

1. Create and edit scripts for AI-generated videos using news articles, trending topics and content briefs.
2. Convert written news stories into engaging, concise and audience-friendly video narratives. Write compelling hooks, introductions, headlines, voiceover scripts, captions and calls to action.
3. Adapt scripts for YouTube videos and YouTube Shorts.. Optimise scripts for AI voiceovers, text-to-video tools, and automated video production workflows.
4. Proofread and edit AI-generated scripts to ensure correct grammar, readability, natural language and appropriate tone.



Fact-check names, dates, figures, claims and other information using reliable sources.
5. Ensure scripts follow editorial guidelines, maintain factual accuracy and avoid misleading or repetitive content. Experiment with AI prompts and workflows to improve script quality, production speed, and audience engagement.

Required Skills

1. Strong command of English; knowledge of Hindi is an added advantage.
2. Excellent writing, proofreading, rewriting and storytelling skills. Ability to write engaging scripts for short-form and long-form video content.
3. Understanding of news content, digital media, YouTube and social media trends.
4. Knowledge of AI voiceover, text-to-video and automated video production workflows along with strong research and fact-checking abilities.
5. Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced digital media workplace.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience in digital news media, video scriptwriting, copy editing or content production.
2. Familiarity with AI video tools such as InVideo AI, Runway, Pictory, or similar platforms.
3. Basic understanding of YouTube SEO, audience retention, and video storytelling.
