Role Description This full time, on-site Sales Associate role is based in Chennai. The Sales Associate will engage with customers, understand their needs, and provide product information and recommendations to support purchasing decisions. Daily responsibilities include handling walk-in and inbound inquiries, conducting follow-ups with prospects, preparing quotes, and processing sales orders accurately. The role involves maintaining updated knowledge of product features, pricing, and promotions, as well as supporting store or office displays and materials that enhance the customer experience.



The Sales Associate will also collaborate with the sales team to meet targets, maintain records in sales systems or spreadsheets, and provide feedback on customer trends to improve overall sales strategy.
Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
Customer service mindset with the ability to understand needs, resolve basic issues, and build long-term relationships.
Basic sales and negotiation abilities, including handling objections and closing sales in a professional manner.
Comfort with using computers and common office or point-of-sale tools for data entry, documentation, and reporting.
Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing leads, tracking follow-ups, and maintaining accurate records.
Ability to work on-site in Chennai, manage time effectively, and handle a rapid-paced environment.
Prior experience in sales, retail, or customer-facing roles is an advantage but not mandatory.
Minimum educational qualification: high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, or a related field is a plus.
