Role Description The Housekeeping Associate is a full time, on-site role based at Rivaah Resort & Spa in Jamshedpur. This role includes cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas to resort standards. Responsibilities include making beds, replacing linens and towels, dusting and vacuuming, restocking amenities, and managing laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens. The Housekeeping Associate responds to guest requests, reports maintenance issues, follows safety and hygiene protocols, and supports opening and closing procedures for assigned floors or areas.



The role involves working closely with the housekeeping and front office teams to ensure a consistent, high-quality guest experience.
Qualifications
Housekeeping and laundry skills, including cleaning, sanitizing, and handling linens and guest clothing.
Robust communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with guests and team members.
Organization skills to manage time, prioritize tasks, and maintain orderly storage of supplies and equipment.
Ability to participate in and support training, including learning resort standards and helping new team members.
Prior housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred; familiarity with cleaning products and equipment is beneficial.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry items throughout the shift while following safety guidelines.
Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read instructions, complete checklists, and track room status.
Reliability, attention to detail, and a positive attitude toward working in a guest-focused environment.
