Role Description This is a full time, on-site Sales Associate role based in Delhi, India. The Sales Associate will identify and approach potential clients, present GEM INDIA’s waste management services, and build long-term relationships with key decision-makers. Daily responsibilities include conducting market research, managing leads, preparing proposals and quotations, and coordinating with operations teams to ensure accurate service offerings. The role involves maintaining sales records, following up on inquiries, negotiating terms within company guidelines, and supporting contract closure activities.



The Sales Associate will also contribute to sales targets, participate in client meetings, and provide feedback on customer needs to improve offerings.
Qualifications
Solid communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage professionally with clients and stakeholders.
Sales and business development capabilities, including lead generation, pipeline management, and basic understanding of B2B sales processes.
Customer service orientation, with skills in relationship building, problem-solving, and handling client queries effectively.
Basic knowledge or interest in waste management, environmental services, or sustainability practices.
Proficiency in using office productivity tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentations) and maintaining accurate sales documentation.
Ability to work in office in Delhi, travel locally as required, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Relevant educational background in business, commerce, environment, or a related field; prior sales experience is an advantage.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to meet targets while adhering to ethical and regulatory standards.
