Role Description This is a full-time, in office Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machine Operator role based in Howrah. The CNC Machine Operator will set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce parts according to drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Daily tasks include interpreting technical drawings, selecting tools, loading materials, adjusting machine settings, and performing basic program edits as needed. The role involves measuring and inspecting finished components, documenting results, and working with the production team to maintain workflow, minimize downtime, and meet delivery targets. The operator will follow all safety guidelines,



maintain a clean work area, and report equipment issues promptly.

Qualifications
Strong Machine Operation skills, including setup, monitoring, and basic troubleshooting of CNC equipment.
Experience in Machining and Milling, with the ability to work from technical drawings and use appropriate tools and cutting parameters.
Capability in Quality Control, including dimensional inspection, use of measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges), and adherence to tolerance requirements.
Familiarity with industrial Machinery and secure operating practices within a production or workshop environment.
Foundational knowledge of CNC programming or program adjustment is an advantage.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and production documentation.
Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a focus on safety and precision.
Previous experience as a CNC operator or machinist in a manufacturing setting preferred.
Relevant technical or vocational training in machining or mechanical engineering is beneficial.
