Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role based in Ernakulam. The Pharmacist will be responsible for accurately dispensing prescription and over-the-counter medications, verifying prescriptions, and checking for drug interactions and appropriate dosages. Daily tasks include counseling patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and storage, as well as maintaining explicit and accurate patient records. The role involves managing inventory, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and upholding safe medication handling and storage practices.



The Pharmacist will work closely with healthcare providers and internal team members to support high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications
Relevant pharmacy degree (B.Pharm, Pharm.D, or equivalent) and valid pharmacist registration/license as per local regulations.
Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication therapy management, and prescription verification processes.
Ability to counsel patients clearly on medication usage, side effects, and adherence, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in maintaining pharmacy inventory, handling controlled substances responsibly, and following standard operating procedures.
Familiarity with pharmacy management software, documentation standards, and basic computer skills.
Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, attention to detail, and compliance with all applicable laws and guidelines.
Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and support staff in a busy, patient-focused environment.
Prior experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting in India is an advantage.
