Job Requirements
Bachelor’s/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
Robust hands-on experience in Autodesk Inventor.
Must have positive knowledge and practical experience in designing:
SPM (Special Purpose Machines)
Conveyor Systems
Experience in 3D modelling, assembly, detailing and 2D manufacturing drawings.
Ability to understand mechanical concepts, machine components, tolerances and manufacturing requirements.
Nesting experience will be an added advantage.
Should be capable of handling design projects independently from concept to manufacturing.
Positive problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience in a manufacturing/machinery industry is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop SPM and conveyor systems using Autodesk Inventor.
Prepare detailed 3D models, assemblies and manufacturing drawings.
Modify and improve existing machine designs based on project requirements.
Coordinate with production and fabrication teams to ensure design feasibility.
Prepare BOMs and other necessary engineering documentation.
Ensure designs meet quality, safety and manufacturing requirements.
Support installation, troubleshooting and design modifications when required.
