Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate HVAC ductwork quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
Review drawings, BOQs, specifications and tender documents.
Prepare ductwork estimates using CAMduct.
Generate CAMduct quantity reports, cutting lists and fabrication data.
Calculate material, labour, fabrication and installation costs.
Optimize material usage and minimize wastage.
Prepare quotations and tender submissions.
Coordinate with Design, Production, Procurement and Project teams.
Review and verify estimates prepared by junior estimators.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and technical discrepancies.
Maintain accurate estimation and project costing records.
Requirements:
Robust knowledge of HVAC ducting fabrication and estimation.
Proficiency in CAMduct is mandatory.
Gulf experience in HVAC Ducting and CAMduct estimationwill be an added advantage.
Valuable knowledge of duct fittings, gauges, flanges and reinforcement.
Ability to read and interpret HVAC drawings.
Relevant experience in HVAC duct manufacturing/estimation.
Solid analytical, costing and communication skills.
