Job Description

Job Title: Transport Supervisor

Location: Hazira, Surat

Experience: 3 -10 Years

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Transport Supervisor to manage employee transportation operations including buses and hired vehicles. The role involves shift-wise transport planning, route management, fleet monitoring, contractor coordination, complaint resolution, and vehicle inspections to ensure safe and efficient transport services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day bus and car transportation operations during assigned shifts.
- Plan and schedule buses, cars, and drivers as per operational requirements.
- Monitor vehicle movement and ensure timely transportation services.
- Handle transport-related complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Coordinate with employees, contractors, drivers, transport agencies, and unionized workforce.
- Conduct route surveys and optimize routes during road closures, diversions, or traffic disruptions.
- Make immediate operational decisions during emergencies and transport breakdowns.
- Carry out spot visits for troubleshooting, route inspections, and service monitoring.




- Conduct routine and technical vehicle inspections.
- Prepare vehicle inspection reports, penalty sheets, and compliance records.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and transport service standards.
- Support 24x7 transport operations and emergency requirements as needed.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- Graduate/Diploma in any discipline.
- 5-10 years of experience in fleet management, employee transportation, logistics, or transport operations.
- Experience handling buses, hired vehicles, drivers, contractors, and transport vendors.
- Positive knowledge of Surat, Hazira, and surrounding areas.
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts and respond during emergencies.
