About the Role

PhysicsWallah (PW) is looking for a dynamic and business-oriented Branch Head to lead its PW SuperClasses centre in Ahmedabad, catering to students preparing for Chartered Accountancy (CA) and Diploma in Accountancy and Law (DAL) programmes.

The Branch Head will be responsible for managing end-to-end branch operations, driving student admissions and revenue growth, leading the counselling and sales teams, and ensuring a seamless student experience. The role requires strong business ownership, operational excellence, and the ability to build and lead a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

- Business & Revenue Growth: Drive student enrolments, revenue generation, and achievement of branch-level business targets.

- Admissions & Sales: Manage the complete admission funnel, including lead generation, counselling, follow-ups, conversions, and enrolments for CA and DAL programmes.

- Branch Operations: Oversee day-to-day centre operations, infrastructure, resource utilisation, batch coordination, and administrative activities.

- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage sales, counselling, and operations teams to achieve business objectives and maintain high productivity.

- Student Experience: Ensure a positive student experience by addressing queries and escalations, monitoring feedback, and implementing initiatives to improve student satisfaction and retention.

- Academic Coordination: Coordinate with academic teams and faculty to support batch planning, class schedules, and smooth delivery of CA and DAL programmes.

- Performance & MIS: Monitor leads, admission conversions, revenue, collections, team productivity, and other key business metrics. Prepare periodic reports and implement corrective action plans.

- Local Market Development:



Identify business opportunities, understand competitor activities, and develop strategies to strengthen the centre's presence in Ahmedabad.

- Financial Management: Monitor branch expenses, optimise operational costs, and ensure adherence to organisational policies and budgets.

- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with central business, academic, marketing, finance, and operations teams to ensure effective execution of business plans.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum 6 years of relevant professional experience in education, EdTech, coaching, or a related industry.

- Prior experience in branch management, centre operations, sales, admissions, or business development.

- Proven track record of achieving revenue and enrolment targets.

- Experience in leading teams and managing end-to-end business operations.

- Strong understanding of sales funnels, customer acquisition, conversion, and revenue management.

- Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in MS Excel, MIS reporting, and business management tools.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience managing a coaching institute, test-preparation centre, or education business.

- Exposure to CA coaching, professional education, or commerce-related programmes will be an added advantage.

- Experience in managing multiple functions, including sales, counselling, operations, and student support.
