Skills: We are a Specialty Chemical Company with headquartered in Kolkata, Eastern

India, having its manufacturing unit at Maheshtala. We are looking for a Maintenance

Engineer to join our team.

The Maintenance Head will be responsible for overseeing and managing the

maintenance activities and also ensure safe and efficient operation of all equipment

and systems in the plant, while minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive

maintenance plans, schedules and procedures for all mechanical

equipment in the plant. This includes preventive maintenance, predictive

maintenance and corrective maintenance activities.

1. Equipment Inspection and Monitoring: Regularly inspect and monitor the

condition of mechanical equipment to identify potential issues or

malfunctions.

1. Team Management: Lead and supervise a team by assigning tasks, provide

guidance, and ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out safely,

efficiently and in accordance with established procedures and standards.

1. Collaborate with the Plant Manager by making maintenance budgets and

effectively managing costs.

1. Safety and compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant safety

regulations,



codes and standards. Promote a safety-first culture among

maintenance personnel and enforce the use of personal protective

equipment (PPE) and secure work practices. Conduct regular safety audits

and implement corrective actions as necessary.

1. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization

and reliability improvement corrective actions as necessary.

1. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain relevant records of all maintenance

activities, including work orders, equipment history, and maintenance logs.

Generate reports on maintenance performance, equipment liability, and

downtime analysis to support decision

- making and continuous

improvement efforts.

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Maheshtala, West Bengal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
