Position Title: Civil Surveyor

Department: Engineering / Survey / Project Execution

Location : Project Site / Office

Reporting To: Project Manager / Site Engineer / Senior Surveyor

Job Summary: The Civil Surveyor is responsible for carrying out land and construction surveys, setting out works, and ensuring all measurements and levels are accurate as per approved drawings and project specifications. The role involves using surveying instruments, preparing survey reports, and coordinating with site engineers for smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct topographical, contour, and construction surveys at project sites.
- Perform layout and setting out of structures, roads, drainage, foundations, and other civil works.
- Operate surveying instruments such as Total Station, Auto Level, DGPS, Dumpy Level, and GPS equipment.
- Verify site levels, coordinates, alignments, and dimensions as per approved drawings.
- Prepare and maintain survey records, field books, coordinates, and measurement reports.
- Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and contractors regarding survey activities.
- Ensure accuracy of survey data and resolve discrepancies at site.
- Assist in quantity calculations and preparation of as-built drawings.
- Monitor benchmark points and establish control points at site.
- Ensure all survey activities comply with project specifications and safety standards.
- Maintain calibration and proper handling of survey instruments.




- Support project execution teams in day-to-day site activities.

Required Qualifications:

- Diploma / ITI / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Surveying.
- Certification in Surveying will be preferred.

Experience Required:

- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in civil construction or infrastructure projects.
- Experience in roads, railways, bridges, buildings, or irrigation projects will be preferred.

Technical Skills:

- Knowledge of surveying methods and civil construction practices.
- Proficiency in handling Total Station and Auto Level instruments.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel.
- Understanding of construction drawings and layouts.
- Knowledge of coordinate systems and levelling procedures.

Soft Skills:

- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work under site conditions and deadlines.

Salary : As per company standards and experience.

Additional Requirements:

- Willingness to travel and work at project sites.
- Ability to work in extended hours if required for project execution.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
