- Prepare the operation theatre before surgeries by ensuring availability of instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies.
- Assist surgeons during procedures as a scrub nurse or circulating nurse.
- Maintain strict aseptic and infection control standards in the OT.
- Verify patient identity, surgical site, and consent prior to procedures.
- Monitor patients’ condition during surgery and report any abnormalities.
- Assist anesthesiologists during induction and recovery phases.
- Maintain accurate surgical records, counts of instruments, sponges, and needles.
- Ensure proper cleaning, sterilization, and maintenance of OT equipment.
- Support post-operative patient transfer and handover.
Eligibility & Qualifications :
- GNM / B.Sc Nursing qualification from a recognized institution.
- Valid nursing council registration.
- Willingness to work rotational day and night shifts.

- Solid knowledge of OT protocols and sterile techniques
- Ability to work under pressure and in emergency situations
- Good communication and teamwork skills
