- Material Handling : Assist in loading and unloading materials from delivery vehicles and containers, ensuring safe handling practices.
- Packing : Pack materials and products according to company standards, ensuring that items are securely packed to prevent damage during transit.
- Counting and Inventory : Perform accurate material counting and inventory checks to ensure stock levels are maintained and discrepancies are reported promptly.
- Organization : Arrange materials in the warehouse systematically for easy retrieval and maintain cleanliness and organization within the storage area.
- Safety Compliance : Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating warehouse equipment and handling materials, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Team Support :
Work collaboratively with the warehouse team and provide assistance as needed in other warehouse operations.
Qualifications :
- Experience : Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role is preferred but not required.
- Physical Requirements : Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks such as bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Skills : Basic math skills for counting materials and understanding inventory records.
- Attention to Detail : Ability to work accurately and efficiently to ensure that materials are properly packed, counted, and handled.
- Team Player : Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented workplace.
